Select Family Law Representation in New Hampshire

Family law has long been part of our practice, and while our focus has shifted toward criminal defense and litigation, we remain committed to guiding a limited number of clients through significant family law matters where our trial experience can make the greatest impact.

Family Law Services

Our family law services cover the issues that matter most during times of transition, offering clear guidance and strong advocacy every step of the way.

We accept select cases involving:

  • Divorce and Property Settlements – guiding clients through the divorce process, from dividing assets and debts to negotiating equitable property agreements, always with an eye on protecting long-term financial stability
  • Child Custody and Parenting Plans – helping parents create workable custody arrangements and parenting schedules that prioritize the best interests of their children while minimizing conflict
  • Child Support and Alimony Disputes – advocating for fair financial support, whether you are seeking payments or defending against unreasonable demands, with a focus on realistic and sustainable outcomes
  • Domestic Violence, Restraining Orders, and Stalking Orders – providing immediate legal protection and strong advocacy for clients seeking safety from abuse, harassment, or threats, as well as defending those accused of such actions
  • Modification or Enforcement of Existing Court Orders – assisting clients when life changes require an update to custody, support, or visitation terms, or when a court order is being ignored and needs enforcement

I cannot recommend Attorney Mello and his team highly enough! In what felt like an impossible situation during my divorce, he worked tirelessly to ensure justice prevailed.”

What You Can Expect

We understand the emotional and financial strain family matters create. In many cases, we help clients reach fair settlements through negotiation. When that’s not possible, we bring the same litigation strength we use in criminal and civil cases into the family law courtroom.

Please note: Because family law cases often require long-term involvement, we limit the number we accept each year. If you are seeking representation, contact our office to discuss whether your case is the right fit for our firm.
